Considering loading caps?

I just did my 808-8a's last night. Removed caps, lined inside of cover caps with felt,
the sticky backed kind available from any craft store for about 90 cents a sheet, and installed shorter screws. It took about 10 minutes to do both units and cost less than $2.
If you're looking for a cheap and easy tweak that will add a great deal of "sparkle" and "detail" to your Altecs this is it.
Highly recommended.

Really does make a difference. Come replacement diaphragm time, put in aluminum or Pacalites. Will make that much more of a difference!
